If you don't have a fediverse account, and are possibly interested in it, you have two options! Currently, I'm hosting a Mastodon instance, and a Wafrn instance.
Mastodon is mostly strictly the fediverse, and is the most stable software for interacting with it.
Wafrn is a bit different, in that it also communicates with the fediverse, but has the option (in settings) to not only connect you to Bluesky, but also the ability to transfer your account from Bluesky, to Wafrn, essentially make it so that you can post to both the fediverse and bluesky at the same time as if they were one site. The difference is that the Wafrn software is a bit buggy at times.
