New Server: CMPLXTUBE, a Peertube Instance

As one or two people may know, along with others that have seen it in passing, I've been trying to make it a regular thing to start streaming my gameplay on stream.place. Why? Because it makes gaming feel like it's less "by myself", you know? And I wanted to set it up to multi-stream to my Peertube account, but, for whatever reason, I was having errors with my accounts on infosec.exchange (errors I probably could have fixed or figured out, looking back on it lol).
Fun fact: My video.infosec.exchange account was featured in the opening shots of Farrell McGuire's Youtube video, "Anomalies in the YouTube Algorithm"
Never-the-less, and that aside, I thought to myself, "I wonder what it would take to just host my own little Peertube instance?"
And then a couple hours later, CMPLXTUBE arose!
This instance is both archival, and now host to my continuing uploads of different types of videos, up to and including VODs from my stream.place account that simulcasts to my Peertube, anything I upload to my VAL3R1E music Youtube channel, some AI-gen Backrooms content from another channel, and an archive of some, frankly, dumb Sora-slop I generated back when that app was still alive and kicking.
For now, the instance is closed, and mostly meant as a personal Peertube instance, someone could potentially request an account if they wanted to. The server does have nearly 350 gigs or so of HDD space to play with, and that is able to be upgraded.
But at the moment it's mostly just for me. Especially in the event that Youtube goes defunct, or they go on a rampage deleting content that doesn't have billions of views, and so on and so forth: I still have everything I've ever posted to Youtube (mostly, there's still some hidden stuff on an old account from almost two decades ago).
If for some reason you're in a dire situation, and I at least know of you, and you want a place to put up some videos, I can give you an account. In that case, just ask me on my Wafrn/Bluesky account that I'm currently mainly posting to.
